I use Linksys ATA for my freephone line. I have forgot my username & password.
So I want to reset the ATA. Can you please help me how to do it ?
Moreover, whenever I receive a call, my time on the phone goes 1 hour backward, if I have set it to the current Eastern Standard Time.
So please tell me what to do to fix this problem ?
Thank you in advance.

To factory reset do the following, but remember you will loose all your settings and will have to setup the device again.monal wrote:I use Linksys ATA for my freephone line. I have forgot my username & password.

pickup your phone and dial **** (four stars)
you should hear the IVR config menu.
then dial RESET# (73738#)

Check your Primary/Secondary NTP Server under. System - Optional Network Configuration
and then check your Regional tab - Misc - make sure your time zone is correct

Adjust not just your timezone, but see if there is a setting (tickbox/toggle) for DST there as well --- I do not have your device, but a lot of them have the provision for dealing with daylight or summer time changes ...
Hardy - Surrey, BC ~~ increasingly disgruntled FPL user ... comon, fix your stuff!

Actially the manual gives 73738 not 73738# but I doubt if it makes any difference. After the number enter "1 to confirm or * to cancel the operation" at the prompt.
If you only want to change the user configuration parameters then the "User Factory Reset" number is 877778 . In this case only the user changeable parameters are reset to factory values.
