Your app should not be causing a noticbale delay in the touch screen capabilities of the 9810 - it does. Your app should work - it doesn't.

So again, have you specifically tested this app on a 9810 using ver 7.1 of the OS? There is no shame on saying "No". There are so many versions of the Bberry (part of the reason for the demise of the company) that I would NOT be surprised that an app created on one version doesn not behave the same way on another device version.
Reez: I have no background that comes close to yours WRT this. However, as a regular on the forums, I would just like to point out that your posts come across rather "confrontational" --- not complaining --- observing!
That said, I can sense your frustration -- it is palpable. And you make several good points, really. It is just you are stabbing them across rather than sliding them on the table, if you know what I mean.
I have the same sort of reaction to a lot of things (check some of my posts), most to do with call routing, the POS PC softphone app and other issues.
I do not think that the staff here that has tried to help you is willfully turning a blind eye or being obtuse, just rather they are CS and not Software Development -- they are asking the questions and going thru the motions they need to.
I have a question: WRT the hourglassing and ts slowdown quoted above, did those both disappear when you removed the Fongo App?? Or had the Fongo app (or something else, or an interaction with the Fongo app) made some changes to settings that you then had to go back MANUALLY and re-adjust?
[Note: not a BB user, don't even own a smartphone!]. I am just asking for troubleshooting purposes.
I agree that there is a lack of Quality Control on a LOT of Fongo products (PC softphone too) ... not just that, but on some of the services as well.
You are ABSOLUTELY correct that there should be notification/warnings etc about some of the behaviours of things.
I hope you take my post for what I intended ... and I honestly sense your frustration, and share it to some extent (honestly, read my posts about LCA's, tariffs and the rest -- I am no expert, but I did a butt-load of research, and the Fongo-verison makes no sense to anything I have read/learned/acquired!).
I hope they can get it bugfixed and you can continue using it!
