I have a brand new unlocked PAP2T with permanent IP on DMZ.
Configuration exactly as per first PDF of board topic.
The LINE1 configuration shows that I can login, am online, and on and off the hook.
Problem:
1) When dialing out I do not hear anything, the receiving number does not ring, and after 20 seconds I get the busy tone.
2) Dialing in, the phone rings, but I cannot pick up the call. Eventually the call goes to voicemail. Tried also with simulring with my cellphone, and I can pickup the call on my cellphone.
When I substitute sip.fongo.com with voip.freephoneline.com , the PAP2 does NOT login.
It points to some configuration error either in my PAP2 or in your system (perhaps I am not activated). Can you help me?
Here is the email I received, with my login:

Edited post to remove last four digits of the phone number and hide the password. Also moved to the appropriate section (this isn't in relation to the Fongo Home Phone product where it was posted).

Re: New freephoneline - PAP2 connects but does not work
Thanks for the reply, however I suspect there is some inconsistency:
a) I have an account and can login into freephoneline.ca. Here the configuration was set up properly and seems to be OK. I enclose 2 PDF's that show that the inbound/outbound proxy should be set (I cannot change it) to voip.freephoneline.ca, together with the logs of my test calls.
b) I tried to log into www.fongo.com, but my email and password is not accepted there. In fact I never registered there. It seems to me that users of fongo.com are not the same as freephoneline.ca
So my question here is again, how should I set up my inbound/outbound proxy on my PAP2? voip.freephoneline.ca does not connect. sip.fongo.com does allow my PAP2 to connect but do not get any voice.
thanks.
