Hello all
There are lot of outages since December and we no longer solely rely on fongo. My suggestion to fongo management is to do a vote and select 2 groups as below
Group 1
People who are happy with old system with no interest in upgrading it or getting in to any new exciting features. Basically this group is interested in only current features and long distance plans.
Group 2
People who are always ready for getting new and exciting features all the time with an excellent bonus of outages everytime.
I will vote for Group 1, fongo please leave us alone!
There should be a voting

There is Freephoneline that offers the choice to buy a config file and then you use whatever you want. No real bells or whistles.
Then there is Fongo that puts the bells and whistles on.
Maybe you should look at FPL and see if that is better for you.

I didn't say that FPL didn't have it's problems. I think they are upgrading their system to cope with the extra load that must have come over the last year or so.mysaurin wrote:Jake

FPL stays as is though. There is no app that keeps updating, nor a service that changes from selling unlock keys to only having home phone.
I believe that once the dust settles the service will be better. We just need to hope it is soon

I just posted in another thread in this forum about problems I had tonight - from the sounds of this thread I am not alone.
Regarding the 2 groups that are proposed above - this is our phone service, so don't we all need reliable service? Yes, extra features are nice, but they aren't much use without a reliable service, so I don't really think that customers can break themselves into these 2 groups.
