Will my voice quality be affected majorly if my current RTP size is .080, and the ringwave form is TRAPEZOID? The reason for this setting is that I can still compromise and receive faxes without any problems. But just want to make sure that I don't sacrifice too much on voice quality.
(I understand that the default setting should be RTP .020, and ringwave type is SINUSOID)...
How important is RTP Size & Ringwave?

Ring type won't affect voice quality at all, just how the ATA sends the ringing voltage to the device attached.Pirate wrote:Will my voice quality be affected majorly if my current RTP size is .080, and the ringwave form is TRAPEZOID? RTP size is variable - if it works for you, then it'll work. 0.020 is the most widely used and problem free one, but if your connection will work with higher, then go for it!
