I also wanted to ask a question on network palcement,

I have been reading on various post and forums the best way to allow for this to work is to have the SPA3102 site just behind the ISP modem, and then have the router behind the SPA3102

the archtitecture I would like and I am having issue's getting this to work is

ISP --> Modem -- Router (d-link 825) --> Linksys spa3102 --> Telephone

I wanted to confirm someone has this type of setup maybe different Router etc.....

also still having issue with spa3102 not dialing out and incoming hear the call when I go to pick it does not answer

please help

ISP --> Modem -- Router (d-link 825) --> Linksys spa3102 --> Telephone

I was able to put the spa3102 behind the router by disabling the spa3102 router function and using it as a Bridge/Switch.

Using command mode from the telephone, " **** ", "201#" here you can enter 1 to use as Bridge/Switch (0 to use as router)

I think I had to reboot my spa3102 (power off and on) to make it work
