cannot port my number from CIK telcom
I was trying to porting the number from CIK Telcom, but failed always. I fill out all needed info on the site and plan to spend $50 to buy VOIP unlock key, the problem is I was told "Error: Unfortunately the number (905) *** **** is not available to be transferred to Freephoneline. We apologize for the inconvinience." I checked with CIK, they told everything is normal on their side, as long as they get request, they would release number. Can someone tell me where the problem is?

What are the next 3 numbers in your phone number? It could be you are not in an area where FPL will port from.

my number is 905 817 ****. BTW I am now using IP phone from CIK.

905-817 is showing as being on the Streetsville, and Streetsville is on the list of portable numbers.
I'm sure this will just be a case of the number not being added into the system properly, so open a support ticket and send the ticket number to Fongo Support (see sig). Unfortunately the forum won't be able to help you, but as far as I can see there should be no reason why you can't port in.
