Hi, there!
I am testing my FPL number and voicemail, but when a call is made, I could hear that there are no ring sounds before the voicemail ID, so the call goes directly to the voicemail ID and "leave a message after the beep". Is this the way it is supposed to be? Is it possible to change this? I would like that my FPL number rings at least three times before going into voicemail mode. How can I achieve this?

It's probably timing out because the SIP invite requests aren't being properly responded to.Disco Makberto wrote:Hi, there!

Try turning off all your firewalls and trying again.
If that fails, configure your internet router to port forward UDP ports 13000-13001 and 6060-6061 to the PC using the softphone.

Re: No ring sounds before voicemail identification
Hello, Steve!
Thanks for your advice.
What would happen if I delete the softphone? Will then the telephone ring when a call is made so that the caller can hear the rings before the voicemail ID starts? Since I am only interested in receiving voicemails re-directed to my e-mail, I don't have a real use for the sotphone, so I guess I can delete it if this will correct my ring situation. Please let me know.

Re: No ring sounds before voicemail identification
It should go straight to voicemail after the server refreshes and sees the softphone isn't connected anymore
