issues after porting

Post by col127 »

i'm having some issues after porting my number from rogers to FPL.

#1 when i call my ported number on FPL, it goes straight to voicemail. this didn't happen before when i had my original FPL number.

#2 i'm no longer able to dial 1-800 / 1-888 numbers - it basically rings a few times and then goes to a 'busy signal' type of tone... i didn't have this issue before the port. it's not the actual numbers that have the problems - i call them with my cell and it works just fine

#3 local numbers that i used to be able to call don't connect - for example, i can't even reach the toronto FPL help line from my FPL line now...

any idea what's going on here? this is really frustrating.

i've already made sure the ports are still forwarded to the right IP, so that's not causing the issue.

thanks!

col127, could you please send me the number you've ported over email and I'll look into it right away.
