Incoming calls not working

Post by btav »

Hi all,

I have been using the GrandStream HT701 with the Fongo home service for a couple of months now, and today all of a sudden incoming calls stopped working. I tried hard restarting everything and no luck. I even tried plugging my GrandStream straight to my modem and no luck. Any suggestions? Incoming calls go straight to voicemail. I have checked if DND was ON or if call forwarding was on and both were off.

Thanks in advance all help is appreciated

I'm having the same problem as of this morning. I'm using an OBI110 and it still says that the fongo account is registered, but only outgoing calls are working. Incoming straight to voicemail, and no VM indicator either.
Is this a fongo issue and nothing specific to my setup?

Same for me. Starting this morning, all incoming calls to my fongo number go straight to voicemail. I'm using OBI110.
It this a problem on Fongo's side, as opposed to any setup on my side (I haven't changed any settings in a while)

It's a problem on their end. Have a look at http://status.fongo.com/

Yes i am having the same issue. I have to forward my landline number to my cell now. This sucks. I cannot even find the fongo customer service number anywhere

If you have the fongo app you can forward the home phone to that too so it doesn't cost you anything

same issue just noticed today even with no config changes made to router, switches or Grandstream. Rebooted all devices today with no resulting fix. Based on the consensus here, this seems definitely a fongo server issue versus any local or end user configuration or defice issue.

Change the proxy to voip.freephoneline.ca and that should fix the issue.
