how to check if my phone number can be transferred

After I log into my freephoneline account, I went to "online store", and then chose "Transfer My Number" from the "Purchase Options", then payed the money, I got invoice from freephoneline for my payment for porting phone. But I still did not check if my number is transferable. Can you please tell me how?

Did you enter your number when you purchased? It will usually tell you if they are not able to port.

I think I would also suggest to send in a support ticket, see sig.

When I paid for the port fee I just filled out my info and my old service provider info. It did not appear as if the system was checking to see if the number could be ported. A few days later, I received an email that informed me of the date the port was expected to be completed.

I did the same as wt76, just fill out form and pay, the system did not ask me to enter my number to check. I hope I can get number ported as wt76. But I will sent support ticket as Jake suggested to make sure everything Ok.

Quick update. I sent a support ticket this morning and was told my number is portable and poring is in progress. I was very satisfied with the quickly response.
