I think Beverly is referring to the router everything on your network is connecting to, am I correct Beverly?
what are there IP's? which ports forwarded to what, and where? router, computer?
By IP, Beverly is (I think) referring to the IP address of your computer, 192.168.x.xxx or something to that effect. Your router can block incoming / outgoing connections, even drop them if nothing is forwarding properly.
Eh I'M pretty sure this is the first thing everyone will do before saying it wont DIAL :)
I do agree with you here, though I wouldn't say everybody ;)

I must say this scenery is just like a car, if there is a road block in your way I wouldn't buy a new car; but find a way around / through the roadblock.

Have you tried connecting your PC directly to your modem and eliminating the router as a possibility to dropping your calls?

Are you connected wirelessly at all? And how far away are your from the router - Including how many floors, walls, etc... (no you don't have to count them all...:) )

Well, regarding your question
System was working well, the internet is connected directly
I don't use any router, I use Vista, and AVG, don't really need firewall since vista
do a pretty good job I find.
Computer is 3.2ghz, duo, with 3gig ram, 256mb vid Hd, and Hd sound card.
I was thinking of cleaning the registry to delete any reference of Freephoneline
then re-install from scratch.

Like I was saying, went I press dial, I see " Calling " then it drop back to the user.

Hope you've got more info, sorry didn't want to sound rude..

Regards
:)

i just did this and got the same results as you. Your outbound firewall rule for FPL is not allowing freephoneline software to go through properly. to fix this you'll have to allow/add FPL in your firewall, to allow it to access your internet.

If you did the Test Connection thing

FPL uses Windows Default unless there a hidden page some where.

If your other sound device works, then i don't see it being a problem. Maybe the switching part. To bad you can't choose which one you want.

Hi Beverly it's Me again :)

Well I find something weird, I realise that went I was dialing and it went back to the user
Well the connection is made, except I don't ear anything, Went I click " ring " on the menu
I can clearly ear the phone ring, went I play music the headset work fine, on the web
any sound work perfectly.
I re-install the driver for my sound card, were the program use to work perfectly.
Now It dial, but I don't ear anything in the headset, the mic seem to work since I ear my voice
over the headset.

So it's really a big puzzle why I'm not able to make call and ear them ?

Port is set to 13000
anyway hope something will click on your side to see what would be the problem
Plus I update the software as well ?

Thanx
Serge
