The PAP2 and PAP2T do not support T.38, the fax protocol. This will make faxing unreliable.
If you want to try it, you can try to set Network Jitter Level to Extremely High, and Jitter Buffer Adjustment to Disable. You should also reduce the speed of your fax to 9600bps, and make sure your internet connection is lightly used while you are sending a fax.
The PAP2T does support T38, but I am not sure about the PAP2.
I have sent faxes with my PAP2T before and there are a few settings on your fax to try and change to increase the chances of it going through. Basically you want to try and make it go as slow as you can, and I found that making the faxes as simple as possible helped a lot (so no full page images).
To be honest I don't bother anymore and just use an online service for the odd FAX I need to send. The one that is connected to our printer gives us a couple of free faxes a month which is more than plenty.
Incoming faxes is easy, just let it go to voicemail and the FPL system will create a nice PDF of the fax and leave it in your voicemail box which you will have to pick up through your online admin.
I was 100% sure that I have seen T.38 support listed in my PAP2T, and even now after searching though the admin pages and not finding it I still believe I saw it. All I can see now is FAX pass though, so there is a chance it will work if your connection is stable enough. What I am 100% convinced about is I have managed to send faxes though my PAP2T so maybe I just got lucky.
