If you want to use the Grandstream ATA with something other than Fongo Home Phone, submit a ticket and request to have the ATA removed from Fongo's provisioning server: https://support.fongo.com/hc/requests/new. That would be the best option.

Re: grandstream HT801
If the other option was IVR Factory reset, it doesn't work. I'm surprised I didn't find the suggestion to just ask them to remove it.... and decided to go a different route
I'll submit a ticket anyway but I've already backed up and flashed something else to it. Going to dig through the backup later. Thanks anyway.

Re: grandstream HT801
Fongo probably doesn't want home phone users accidentally messing something up by doing what I was going to suggest trying. So, my only option is recommending what I stated.

Re: grandstream HT801
I haven't messed around with this stuff in awhile and now I have the time but I'm too poor for new hardware so it is what it is. If it works, no need to fix it I guess. Care to PM me the other option? I'm just curious so feel free to be vague or ignore this request altogether.
I have root and UART shell working with dupont connectors hotglued to the outside for easy access. It's also setup with my new provider already, all before support replied to my request to remove it from their control. Was a lot of fun and a good distraction from applying to jobs.

You appear to have accomplished what you wanted, so I think I'd better leave well enough alone.
