Can I two numbers with the softphone and the ATA?
I am with freephoneline and I paid for the config file and now I have it for my home phone. Can I still download the softphone and sign up for another number and use it for the softphone only?

You certainly can - we won't forbid you from having two numbers!

I tried to register and it says I already have a freephoneline account. So can I still have another account for the softphone?

Try clearing your cookies also, or using a different computer or browser.h4332 wrote:I tried to register and it says I already have a freephoneline account. So can I still have another account for the softphone?

Re: Can I two numbers with the softphone and the ATA?
IF you have softphone installed on your PC or you have login freephoneline account, it will record into your cookie that you are an existing user. As per the FPL terms and conditions, they basically only allow one number per user (unique e-mail account) per IP, etc.
Therefore, you have to uninstall the softphone as well as clear all cookies if you have login your account using the PC. If you are using IE you may need to clear all cookies. Otherwise, you may still get the "your are already have a freephoneline account".
If you are using Google Chrome, just delete all the cookies with name of freephoneline.
You must use a different e-mail address to register the 2nd number.

Just the cookies is enough as it's only the web interface that checks if you already have an account or not. Using two browsers is even easier.
