What is DMZ mode and how can I make sure my adapter is not set in that mode?

Re: What is DMZ mode?
It means "demilitarized zone" which basically means any incoming connections will be routed to whatever device is in the DMZ. This is why when a voip connection doesn't seem to be working, putting the ata in the DMZ is a good test to see if it is a router/port issue. Unless DMZ is required by something, it shouldn't really be used.billcanada wrote:What is DMZ mode and how can I make sure my adapter is not set in that mode?
You have 2Wire in your details as your router, so take a look at this page which might help.
