I got a message and retreived it, but the voice mail indicating tones are not clearing.
This is triggering my cordless phone to blink that there is a message waiting.
How do I clear this?
I've checked my voicemail and it says that there are no messages

The only way to clear it is to power the ata off. This is not an acceptable solution!

This is not a joke. You need to ensure that your ATA is setup correctly.
Rebooting ATA to clear VM- you didn't really solved the problem.
Please review your ATA configuration and ensure that you are setup as per FPL guidelines.
This will resolve your issue permanently.

Great, which setting should I be looking at? I'm using a linksys pap 2t ata. Is there a link you can provide. Or what should I be looking at specifically?

I have the same issue (since I signed up, back in ~Sep. 2012) and my PAP2T-NA is configured exactly as your guide says. There is most definitely an issue somewhere, because my Voicemail indicator takes days to clear, even if I restart my ATA.

Your ATA will need to be reset to factory defaults and reconfigured.
